How Juvederm® Works
Juvederm® uses hyaluronic acid to rehydrate and volumize the skin. Each molecule binds to approximately 1,000 times its weight in water, filling deep wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid also supports collagen production and binds to elastin, enhancing nutrient delivery to the skin and supporting healthy facial structure.
Procedure
The Juvederm® gel is injected into facial soft tissue. The procedure takes no more than 20 minutes and provides immediate results. Some patients may feel slight stinging at the injection site. It is recommended to avoid rigorous exercise or sun lamps for 24 hours after treatment.
